Jonathan Taylor is the third repeat Doak Walker Award winner, joining Texas’ Ricky Williams (1997–98) and Arkansas’ Darren McFadden (2006–07). Wisconsin running backs have now won the Doak a record five times.
Taylor is the first UW player to finish in the top 10 of the Heisman Trophy voting 3 times. He was 6th as a freshman in 2017, 9th in 2018 and 5th in 2019.
